Executive 5556 is an aluminum filler with higher levels of magnesium and zinc than 5356 which will yield increased crack resistance, tensile strength and good ductility.
Application and Features
Executive 5556 may be used for MIG or TIG welding processes. Commonly used on base metals 5154, 5254, 5454 and 5456.
This wire is also suitable for laser welding and WAAM applications (Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing, aka Metal 3D printing).
